Big cities are in danger as seas rises twice as fast

Big cities like London, Miami, New York, New Orleans, Mumbai, Cairo, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Shanghai and Manila are threatened as the sea level rises twice as fast as projected a few years ago, this is due to Global warming and polar ice sheets melting that cause sea levels to rise worldwide, leaving people in coastal areas and low-lying islands vulnerable to weather related catastrophes just like what happened in september with the tropical storm “Ondoy” leaving 80 percent of Manila under water.
