French “Spiderman” fined for climbing the Petronas Twin Towers

Kuala Lumpur – After two failed attempt on scaling the Petronas Tower, French climber Alain Robert also known as “Spiderman” for his bare-hand climbing of many tall infrastructures had finally succeeded in reaching the 88-storey tower’s peak.

For doing so he was awarded…a “fine” of 2,000 ringgit or 567 dollars hehehe.

Robert is “a passionate climber” according to his lawyer Wong Kian Kheong, “He has not done the climb for profit or publicity, I have never met any other person who is so passionate about climbing” he added and Robert promised not to scale any other Kuala Lumpur in the future, escaping a possible six-months imprisonment.
