Here are the highlights of the Apple “Rock and Roll” themed event wednesday:
iPod Nano with video camera: This smallest iPod is now upgraded with a built-in video camera, a pedometer, a microphone, the original screen is now 2.2 inch and an FM radio tuner where you can listen to your favorite radio stations. The cost for the updated iPod Nano model is $149 or around 7,152 pesos for the 8 GB model and $179 or 8,592 pesos for the 16 GB model.
iPod Touch Price cuts, Storage expansion: My favorite 8 GB iPod Touch is now $30 or 1,440 pesos less, while on larger iPod Touch models the price are still constant but the storage space are doubled instead. $299 or 14,352 pesos for the 32 GB model and $399 or 19,152 pesos for the 64 GB model.
More color for iPod Shuffles: 4 GB iPod Shuffle priced $79 or 3,792 pesos now have more colors to choose from, silver, black, blue, pink and green. A smaller and less expensive 2 GB iPod Shuffle model was added priced $59 or 2,832 pesos, also in different colors.
Expanded iPod Classic storage: The iPod Classic had a 40 GB addition to its storage total of 160 GB, now that’s a lot of storage where you can place about 200 movies, 32,000 mp3s and 80,000 images.
New iTunes version: iTunes 9 has been released, finally we can organize applications for the iPhone and iPod Touch which can be of great help to iPod Touch users like me with lots of games and applications loaded on their iPod Touch giving them hard time organizing the icons on screen. The new iTunes 9 also lets five computer on the same home network share music, video and other content.
