Windows Mobile
For any Windows Mobile 6.0 smartphone, users can subscribe to a free beta app service of Microsoft called MyPhone. This service gives the user ability to locate lost phones and erase data remotely through GPS, as well as back-up messages, photos, contacts and calendar entries to Microsoft’s storage cloud.
Palm Pre
To erase data remotely from Palm Pre just log-in to palm.com/palmprofile using the e-mail address and password you set up when you first activated the handset and just select Erase Device.
Android OS
If you are one of the owner of a new Android smartphones, you can try SMobile Anti-Theft app for 19.95 dollars, it features GPS locator and can also erase data remotely from your phone memory or SD Card.
