Here’s another great game to be shown on the big screen, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Prince of Persia was first released in 1989 for MS-DOS which it became an instant hit and spawned several series, spin-offs and remakes up to the more advance consoles like PS3 and XBOX 360.

Who
I have played and beat Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time on the PS2 and it was so cool because of the gameplay involving puzzles and the Prince’s ability to control time during battles not to mention his skills with acrobats and swordsmanship, by the way throughout the series, the main protagonist was never given any explicit name but was only referred to as “The Prince” and was designed based on several characters like “Sinbad” from Arabian Nights, “Han Solo” from Star Wars and “Aragorn” from The Lord of the Rings. In the upcoming movie the Prince was named “Dastan”.
The movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan, Gemma Arterton as Tamina, Ben Kingsley as Nizam, and Alfred Molina as Sheik Amar, directed by Mike Newell and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The film will be released on May 28, 2010 under Walt Disney Pictures.
