Back in 1978 when Japan had a temporary shortage of 100 yen coins due to kids playing the “Killer App” arcade video game Space Invaders, we used to imagine the pixelated icons we control as spaceships of some sort while the other pixelated icons we destroy as aliens or monster. Due to a limit in graphics memory back then, we never had the chance to see what they really look like. So allow me to show you the Space Invaders true nature, their real image and…whatever just check it out.

By the way Space Invaders is now considered one of the most successful arcade shooting games that generated almost 500 million dollars in revenue and ranked top of the arcade games by the Guinness World Records, pretty cool huh?
